The theme of this conference is Building Innovative Society through Information Systems. In the last decade, there has been an increase emphasis on the role of Information Systems in shaping societies. These systems provide individuals with information that not only improve their standard of living but also make them more innovative. Moreover, governments have realized that for longer sustainability they need to create a ground for innovation. This innovation can only be realized through the development and use of Information Systems. It is about this innovation that societies are able to grow and prosper.
